Primary Eyecare and Fink’s Jewelers will be partnering on Tuesday, October 27th, 2009 from 2 pm until 6 pm to hold an exclusive David Yurman eyewear and jewelry event that allows you to view some of the newest pieces available in the exclusive David Yurman collection.

Renowed around the world for his classic bracelets, rings, and other signature jewelry, David Yurman recently debuted a collection of prescription eyeglass frames and sunglasses that complement any Yurman jewelry piece, or stand alone as a beautiful, quality choice for your next eyewear investment.

During this event, Fink’s Jewelers will also be able be allowing an exclusive preview of the Fall 2009 collection of David Yurman jewelry.

Finger foods and beverages will be served. Both Primary Eyecare and Fink’s Jewelers will be contributing a door prize that each attendee will be eligible to win at the event!

Charlottesville’s Famous Women’s 4 Miler this Weekend!

Currently the largest all-women event in Charlottesville, the Women’s 4 Miler is a happening this Saturday at Fox Field at 8am. Created 17 years ago to raise money and awareness for the UVA Cancer Center Breast Care Program, the Women’s 4 Miler is an awesome event that binds the community together in support of a cause that has touched almost everyone in some form. The Optical at Primary Eyecare is excited to announce that we’ve donated three pairs of special edition Oakley sunglasses and one gift certificate for a pair of Chanel sunglasses (from our Barracks Road location) to this event. Winners of the four pairs of sunglasses will be determined through a raffle organized by the coordinators of the Women’s 4 Miler and will be announced at the race on Saturday.

One of our own, Dr. Janice DiGirolamo, will be running the race this year as well. We wish her, and the rest of the many women who will be participating, luck and thank you all for your participation in and support of this great cause!

Everyone’s invited! On Thursday August 27th, C-ville Weekly will be celebrating the release of its newest issue of Charlottesville’s sweetest fashion magazine, Sugar. As one of the party’s sponsors, The Optical at Primary Eyecare wants to extend an invite to all of our patients. Open to the public, the party begins at 9pm and will last until Zo-ca-lo closes. Oliver People’s Iconic O’Malley – R.I.P.
